Teak

Teak

Teak, also known as Burma Teak (Tectona Grandis), is a species defined by its golden-brown colour, coarse texture, and straight grain. Teak Wood Veneer sheets vary in terms of their colour from light golden brown to dark brown with fine, dark, contrasting stripes of lines.
Logs are usually flat-sliced or cut into thirds or quarters to maximise the amount of crown material, with some rift-cut sections for straight grain. The crown cut has a beautiful tone with striking cathedrals, and mineral streaks add a contrasting grain pattern, like American Walnut.
